I was walking around through Target with my camera when I noticed a baby stroller just sitting there. I sat and watched wait for her parents to come and collect her.
Not until it cried did I realize that her parents were over looking at the milk some 15 feet away. Her mother casually looked behind her and shushed it, without giving a second glance.
It took them 20 minutes before they even looked at her again.
I was amazed.
Standing there I realized how easy it would have been for someone to just come and wheel off with her, and they woulden't even have noticed a thing.
We stood there until they finally took her and continued shopping, just to make sure nothing would happen to her, because they were obviously too busy with the milk to notice much anything else.
were they middle eastern? because i know for some of them being cruel is what they do. some of my friends have told me about their punishments and stuff and its not cool, not at all. so i dunno, tough love?
glad you put the whole story in, makes the picture all the better.
Them being "middle-eastern" would have nothing to do with it. Think before you speak (or type for that matter). Being a bigot isn't very appealing. These people were just horrible parents who completely neglected their child. Yes, horrible people, but their culture or nationality had nothing to do with it. "Being cruel is what they do". Pfft.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I like the picture though. the neon really jazzes it up (in case you haven't noticed I'm totally into JAAAAZZZZZ.)
I guess that's why I'm in jazz band. It's one of the few perks, getting to say jazz a lot and making jazzy hand motions. yumhmmm.

Her sustained appoggiatura was flawed by her inability to complete the roulade.

I refuse.
It's lame cuz I look at this and think, "Target..." in a pathetic little meek voice (cuz my thoughts have voices, yeah).
But I like how the edges are darker and there's nobody but them in the shot. Very isolated.
Did anybody walk around by them?
